Favorite HPTO Event
Book Fair! I really enjoy having it all come together so the kids can experience some joy shopping for their new favorite book. All the work it takes to have a week long book fair is worth it to see the kids have fun buying books.
Favorite Summer Memory
First family road trip to Captiva Island Florida was life-changing. The whole family loved the relaxing island life. A couple hours at the beach in the morning and swimming in the pool in the afternoon was the recipe for a happy week. I think sun, surf, and sand is our vibe!

Favorite HPTO Event
My favorite HPTO event is trunk or treat. My family and I really love Halloween so getting to share that love with our Husmann family is special to me. I enjoy getting creative and coming up with a new trunk theme every year!
Favorite Summer Memory
My favorite summer memory is going to Disneyland for the first time. It was my daughter’s first time to a Disney park so that was really fun to have that experience with her. We especially loved riding Space Mountain!

My favorite HPTO event is A Very Merry Husmann Holiday! It’s a fun way to get everyone in the holiday spirit and to get ready for winter break.
Favorite Summer Memory
My favorite summer memory is going camping with my family. We have a lot of fun with friends around the bonfire making s’mores and playing fun games outside with our dog!

Favorite HPTO Event
My favorite PTO event is also the Book Fair. While Jess was the chair last year, I got involved in many aspects of the event as a sort of shadow co-chair. I really enjoyed being part of the planning and seeing the excitement it brought to the kids. Watching the students get excited about choosing books and experiencing the event firsthand was really rewarding.
Favorite Summer Memory
Swimming with the family in our backyard pool! Nothing beats a dip to beat the summer heat, and I remain the dunk master over Parker (8) and Oliver (3.5).
